Common questions, plus how to reach us when something isn't covered.
Account & access
How do I get an ParlorOps account?
ParlorOps is invite-only during the pilot. Shop owners get an invite link from the ParlorOps team; artists and clients are invited by their shop. If you think you should have access and don't, email support@parlor-ops.com.
I forgot my password.
From the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter the email tied to your account. We'll send a reset link. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check spam, then reach out to support.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. We delete your account and personal data within 30 days; some records (payment history, audit logs) are retained for the period required by law. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Using the app
Where do I find my upcoming bookings?
Clients see bookings under My Tattoos. Artists see bookings on the Today tab (next upcoming) and Calendar tab (full schedule). Shop admins see the studio-wide calendar in the same place.
How does affiliation work for artists?
Artists need at least one active shop affiliation to accept bookings. Two paths:
- Search for a shop in Profile → My Shops → + and request affiliation.
- Share your 8-character share code with a shop owner; they invite you by code.
You can affiliate with multiple shops simultaneously, with different commission terms per shop.
I'm a shop owner — how do I find artists?
From Settings → Manage Artists, tap +. You can browse artists who've opted in to be discoverable, or invite directly by their share code if they've sent it to you.
My session, photo, or data didn't save.
Most data syncs automatically when you tap Save or Finish. If you see an error message, the change wasn't persisted — please retry on a stable connection. If the problem is repeatable, email support with what you were doing and roughly when, and we'll trace it from the server side.
Privacy & data
Where is my data stored?
ParlorOps stores data on US-based infrastructure (PostgreSQL via Neon in AWS US-East-1; backend hosted on Fly.io in IAD). Photos uploaded to the app are stored in encrypted S3-compatible storage. Full data-handling details are in the Privacy Policy.
Who can see my photos and notes?
Tattoo references and session photos are visible to you, your artist (or your client if you're the artist), and your shop's admin staff. Portfolio photos that artists publish are visible to clients in the photo-match flow. Nothing is sold to third parties — see the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
